Bennie
Bennie was born in Long Island, New York, and started playing the drums at age seven. His unique style of drumming granted him the opportunity to open for Smokey Robinson, the Four Tops, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, Travares, Brass Construction, and Millie Jackson. In search of new horizons, Bennie relocated to Southern California and worked on recordings with Yasmin Peoples, Buddy Miles, Calvin Brown, and Donnie Sterling.

His drumming can be heard on such recordings as Men of the Music (The Banda AKA), The History of our Future (Blakasaurus Mex for the Black Rock Collision founded by Vernon Reid), Planetary Warrior (Harvey Mandel). In addition, Bennie's proficient drum tracks were recently telecast on the TV show, Nash Bridges.

Back in Northern California again, Bennie applies his creative writing and producing skills to compose commercial jingles and movie soundtracks at his studio called Rocking Chair productions. Bennie joined COPUS in early 1998.
