FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER
SATURDAY NIGHT EVENT - The phenomenal Alice and I have worked hard to put together a concert to raise funds for the family of Richard Buckley, who died suddenly on Christmas Eve. Richard was a very kind, loving man who gave a great deal to the recovery community both in San Francisco and in Marin County. He is survived by his wonderful wife, Sally, and her two small boys, Brandon and Dillon. Sally works full time, is going to SFSU to become a CPA, and is trying to raise the boys alone now; it is tough, but she is going to make it!
MUSIC HAS A SPECIAL WAY OF SENDING A MESSAGE - of healing and hope and we have incredible artists who have donated their time and talents to bring a wonderful show featuring: THE VELVETONES, PAMELA ROSE, COPUS, DAN HICKS, PHILIP CLAYPOOL, and host NOAH GRIFFIN. Admission is $10-15 at the door. 8:00pm - 11:00pm at the Strawberry Recreation Center Gymnasium, 118 East Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley.
CHILDCARE WILL BE PROVIDED - in a separate room filled with lots of toys and great fun activities for the little ones whose parents want to enjoy the show.
ART ANGELS CHOICE - Out of the 100+ arts organizations in the Bay Area that artangels.org represents, Copus has been selected as 1 of the 8 groups they are choosing to promote this year. More to follow.
COPUS CATALOG - The Copus catalog is expanding as we speak. Already we have 7 excellent spoken word/music CDs.
